South Asia Center for Media in Development (SACMID) successfully organized a “Dissemination Workshop Experience and Expectations” at the Liberation War Museum’s seminar room in Agargaon, Dhaka, on Monday, 30 September 2024.
The workshop, which began at 10:30 a.m., aimed to share key insights, experiences, and lessons learned from SACMID’s latest project.
About 20 participants from various backgrounds including university professors school principals, religious and cultural leaders, journalists, students, took part in the workshop.
Syed Kamrul Hasan, Deputy Director of SACMID and the program manager, delivered the welcome speech, setting the tone for a productive session. This was followed by a presentation from Easin Ahmed, Program Officer at SACMID, who shared detailed experiences and valuable lessons gathered throughout the project.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Sheikh Shafiul Islam, SACMID Consultant and Associate Professor of Media Studies and Journalism, who presented the Key Findings of the End-line Evaluation of the project. His presentation offered significant insights into the outcomes, impact, and future recommendations for similar initiatives.
About 20 participants from various backgrounds including university professors school principals, religious and cultural leaders, journalists, students, took part The workshop concluded with an open discussion, providing participants the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue on the project’s results and future expectations.
This program has been held under the project “Combating Mis and Disinformation sparked by Digital and Social Media in Bangladesh”, funded by the Embassy of the Netherlands and implemented by SACMID.
