  • As an individual media, news items are not showing women as sex objects. But some media like advertisement, cinema are showing women as sex objects. News items are trying to be as serious as possible. So these should be mentioned when talking about ‘media are showing women as sex objects.’
  • ‘Women as victims’ is a common topic in media. This is not bad. As women are becoming more victims of violence, so their news need to be cover more and more. But violence against women are not coming in the news stories for the failure of media and also for social taboo.
  • For a getting a better findings from Gender media monitoring, the entire news should be monitored, Then SACMID team can find the real picture of Gender in media.
