On 24th April 2019 Syed Kamrul Hasan, Deputy Director of SACMID, attended in National Conference on “Fostering C4D Research to Achieve Results for Children” at Bangabandhu International Conference Center, Dhaka. Conference jointly organized by UNICEF Bangladesh, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh and Ohio University.
In 2018, South Asia Center for Media in Development (SACMID) conducted a baseline survey among 500 students of 16 secondary schools of Dhaka city under the support of Free Press Unlimited titled “Promoting Media Literacy in Bangladesh, a baseline survey on Media Literacy among Secondary Students in Dhaka City”.
Syed Kamrul Hasan has been invited to disseminate the research findings in Session 3C, Under Media Category of the conference.
Professor Golam Rahman, Former Chief Information Commissioner has chaired the session while participants from different organizations, Researcher, University Faculty, Lecturer joined in the conference.
